Is Asli Scan free?
Yes. Asli Scan is free to download and use. There is no sign-up and no in-app purchase needed to scan or verify.
Does Asli Scan scan ordinary QR codes?
Yes. It reads any standard QR code — links, menus, posters, Wi-Fi codes, business cards — as well as product-authentication codes.
How does Asli Scan know a product is genuine?
Brands that protect their products register each code with our verification platform. When you scan one, Asli Scan checks it live and shows the product, brand and batch when it matches, or tells you why it didn't.
What if a product fails verification?
Don't treat it as genuine. The result tells you why — inactive, expired, already used or not recognised. Contact the brand or the seller you bought it from.
Does Asli Scan need my location?
No. Location is optional. If you allow it, approximate location is saved with the verification to help brands spot copied codes being scanned far from where the real product could be.
Is Asli Scan available on iPhone?
Not yet. It is currently available for Android on Google Play.
